1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for Fetchrole paid subscriptions. All billing is handled by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), who acts as our Merchant of Record. Paddle is responsible for processing your payment and any approved refund directly to your original payment method.
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all first-time paid subscriptions — no questions asked. Simply email us within 14 days of your first charge and we will arrange a full refund through Paddle.
2. Free Plan
The Free plan does not involve any payment. No charges, no refunds. You can downgrade to the Free plan at any time from your account settings.
3. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
Eligibility
- Applies to the first paid subscription purchase on your Fetchrole account.
- Must be requested within 14 calendar days of the initial charge date.
- Available once per account regardless of plan type (Pro or Power).
What you receive
A full refund of the subscription amount charged. No deductions, no partial credits — the full amount returned to your original payment method.
How to request
Email contact@fetchrole.com with the subject line "Refund Request" and include your registered email address. We aim to confirm your request within 1 business day.
4. After the 14-Day Guarantee Period
Subscription charges made after the 14-day guarantee window are generally non-refundable. This includes:
- Renewal charges for ongoing monthly or annual subscriptions.
- Upgrade charges when switching from a lower to a higher plan mid-cycle.
- Charges on accounts that have previously received a money-back refund.
We review exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis. If you believe you have been charged in error, or experienced a significant service outage during your billing period, please contact us and we will investigate promptly.
5. Subscription Cancellation
How to cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. No cancellation fees apply.
What happens after cancellation
- Your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- You will not be charged at the next renewal date.
- Your account reverts to the Free plan when the billing period ends.
- Your professional profile and data are retained unless you also delete your account.
Cancellation does not trigger a refund for the remaining days in the current billing period. To receive a refund, submit a refund request rather than — or in addition to — cancelling your subscription.
6. Annual Plans
Annual subscriptions are eligible for the 14-day money-back guarantee on the first purchase. After the guarantee period, annual plans are non-refundable except in cases of documented service unavailability or billing errors. If you cancel an annual plan mid-year, access continues until the plan expires and no partial refund is issued.
7. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:
- Accounts terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service.
- Requests submitted after the applicable refund window has passed.
- Accounts that have already received a money-back refund on a previous subscription.
- Dissatisfaction with AI-generated output quality where the Service itself is functioning as described.
8. Refund Processing
Once your refund is approved, Paddle processes the refund to your original payment method. Processing times vary by card network and bank:
- Credit / debit cards: 5–10 business days.
- PayPal: 3–5 business days.
- Other methods: up to 10 business days.
You will receive a confirmation email from Paddle once the refund is issued. If you do not see the refund after 10 business days, please contact your bank or card issuer before reaching out to us.
