Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "User") and Fetchrole ("Fetchrole", "we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of the Fetchrole platform, website, and services (collectively, the "Service") available at fetchrole.com.

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

Fetchrole is an AI-powered job matching and application assistant. Each day, we aggregate fresh job postings from public job boards and company career pages, match them against your professional profile, and generate tailored CV summaries and cover letters for roles you select. You remain in full control — you review every document before sending any application.

To use the Service you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts in your jurisdiction.
• Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law.

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Notify us immediately at contact@fetchrole.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorised use of your credentials.

Payment Processing

Subscription billing is handled by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), who acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. When you purchase a paid plan, your contract for payment is with Paddle, subject to Paddle's terms and conditions. Paddle is responsible for processing your payment, issuing invoices, and handling any applicable taxes.

Plans & Pricing

We offer Free, Pro, and Power plans. Pricing, feature limits, and billing cycles are described on our Pricing page. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

Auto-Renewal

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.

Refunds

Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations.
• Submit false, misleading, or fabricated information in your professional profile or CV.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service.
• Use the Service to generate application materials for roles you are not qualified for with the intent to deceive employers.
• Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights or contains malware.
• Circumvent any rate limits, access controls, or security measures.
• Resell, sublicence, or otherwise transfer access to the Service to third parties.

You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload to the Service, including your CV, work history, skills, and job preferences ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Fetchrole a limited, non-exclusive licence to process and use that content solely for the purpose of delivering the Service to you.

We do not share your User Content with employers or third parties without your explicit consent, except as described in our Privacy Policy.

The Service, including its design, algorithms, software, and all content produced by Fetchrole (excluding User Content), is owned by Fetchrole and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in the Fetchrole name, trademarks, or proprietary technology beyond what is necessary to use the Service.

The Service integrates with third-party providers including AI model providers for document generation, Paddle for payment processing, and aggregated job board feeds. Your use of those third-party services is governed by their respective terms. Fetchrole is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party job listings.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Fetchrole does not warrant that job matches will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your requirements; that AI-generated documents will secure interviews or job offers; or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FETCHROLE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fetchrole and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms, your User Content, or your use of the Service.

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you materially breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via an in-product notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the jurisdiction where Fetchrole is registered.
